Hi, I’m Kate Bertram, author of Creating Stickiness, and someone who believes deeply in building workplaces people never want to leave.
For over 20 years, I’ve worked in executive and organizational leadership. I’ve seen what happens when culture is an afterthought—and I’ve also seen the incredible transformation that occurs when leaders commit to engagement, accountability, and creating meaningful experiences for their teams. That’s why I wrote this book.
Creating Stickiness is a reflection of the lessons I’ve learned (sometimes the hard way), the strategies I’ve tested, and the belief that culture isn’t a program or a perk—it’s the result of everything we do, every day.
I wrote this book for leaders like you—the ones who care enough to do the hard work, ask better questions, and make work matter. My goal is to give you a practical, actionable roadmap to build a culture that retains people, inspires them, and brings out their best.
I live in Milwaukee with my husband, our two daughters, and our lovable golden retrievers. When I’m not working, writing, or building sticky organizations, you’ll find me having deep conversations, cheering on my girls, or dreaming about what’s next for the future of work.
